SCS Marine Surveying will help you feel secure in your choice of new or used vessel by knowing more about it. SCS Marine Surveying will survey it, using both high tech equipment and traditional sound techniques, and report back to you in great detail.

Survey information and written reports are presented to our client, and only our client, in a timely manner. Reports are in text format, not a √ in a box or a word or two in a blank, easy to read with detailed color pictures of any findings. It’s better to know before you buy. “Fair and balanced” has been used by clients and sellers alike to describe our demeanor.

All SCS Marine Surveys follow compliance with United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), US Coast Guard rules and regulations, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC)  recommendations.

Insurability and Valuation reports are tailored to the needs of marine insurance underwriters and lending institutions. From turn of the century sailboats to today’s high tech express cruisers, SCS Marine Surveying has never had an insurance survey rejected.

Damage and Claim assignments are conducted in a timely and professional manner. Onsite to be the eyes, ears and nose of the insurer, SCS Marine Surveying reports are detailed and thorough, giving the insurer the necessary information to properly service their customers.
